🐾 Frequently Asked Questions

MIni Aussie Collective – Mini Australian Shepherds

1. What breed are your puppies?

We raise Miniature Australian Shepherds, often called “Mini Aussies.” They’re known for their loyalty, intelligence, affectionate nature, and beautiful coloring. Mini Aussies are great for active families and make loving, indoor companions.

2. How big will the puppies get?

Our puppies are expected to reach 25 to 40 pounds when fully grown, based on the size of the parents (Thunderbolt and Kisma). Each puppy listing includes an estimated adult weight range.

3. Are your puppies registered?

While our parent dogs are registered, our puppies are sold as pets only and do not come with breeding rights or registration papers.

4. What’s included with each puppy?

Every puppy comes home with a Welcome Package, which includes:

  • One week’s supply of their current food

  • First-week care and potty training tips

  • A comfort item with scent from their litter

  • Vaccination

  • A signed Puppy Sales Agreement

  • Continued support from us if questions come up after pickup

5. Are your puppies socialized?

Yes! Our puppies are raised in our family home, around children and other pets. They’re exposed to everyday sights and sounds, handled regularly, and begin early potty training routines so they transition smoothly to their new homes.

6. What health precautions do you take?

Our puppies are vet-checked and receive age-appropriate vaccinations before going to their new homes. We also use Embark genetic testing on our parent dogs to screen for hereditary health issues common to the breed.

7. When can I take my puppy home?

Puppies are ready to be homed as of July 1, 2025.

8. How do I adopt a puppy?

Once at the "Available Puppies" page, Click the “More Details” button on the desired puppies profile. Once on the individual puppies profile page, click on the "Email Us" button and inform us of your intention to adopt the selected puppy. We will contact you back shortly to schedule pick up and payment details.

9. Will I get to meet my puppy before pickup?

Yes! After you reserve your puppy, we’ll schedule a video meet-and-greet so you can see your puppy live, ask questions, and start bonding before pickup day.

10. What if I can’t keep the puppy later?

If life circumstances change and you’re no longer able to care for your puppy, you must contact us first. While no refunds will be issued, we will assist with rehoming the dog to ensure they never end up in a shelter or unsafe environment. Rehoming without our knowledge or permission is not permitted.

11. Where are you located? Do you offer delivery?

We are based in Lancaster, California. All pickups are arranged locally. At this time, we do not offer delivery or shipping, but we’re happy to coordinate convenient pickup times.

12. Can I follow along with my puppy’s progress?

Yes! We share regular photo and video updates on our social media pages (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram)
